It seems like every year I hear about congress spending money on various millitary hardware that the milliary does not want. Cut that crap out and we will save.   NO, we can't do that because it may cost jobs. I don't buy things I don't want just to stimulate the economy why should they?

No, let's start with the fact that congress, both parties, are more inclined to answer to lobbyist than 'WE THE PEOPLE'. They were put there to make hard decisions. If they can't cut them or their pay.   Pass the balance budget or no pay bill. Things will happen then.
