Well, Americans have a high obesity rate, so maybe rushing around like psychopaths for a few hours will work off a 1/2 pound or so. Though since they will be fresh from eating some poor slaughterhouse turkey (disgusting tradition) they will probably be so jacked up on L-tryptophan that they will be too tired to go shop...more

People SHOULD protest this and not shop on Thanksgiving. The sales will still be there on Black Friday. As for the response posted by "Not The Winner" - I totally agree.
