I graduated from a Canadian University and after seeing the curriculum in US Universities which I would compare the first 2 years to that of a Canadian high school..  4 years in a US engineering school barely covers what is handled in one year at a Canadian engineering school.

I have a problem with the car of the year process since it seldom locks at quality.  VW BMW, Mercedes and Chrysler consistantly are at the bottom when it comes to quality and frankly that is a major buying concideration for me
