There is no such thing as an assault rifle. Do you know what "assault" means? If I hit you with a baseball bat, that makes it "assault". Anything used in the act of "assaulting" someone can be an "assault" weapon, like car, or a knife, or a pitch fork, or a tire iron, etc. Get an education!
