Most Real car guys know that manufacturers ratings for HP are at the flywheel not at the tires. So "regular" cars might have 275 at the wheels plus the weight of a modern car....comparasion between the two is like apples to oranges.

But yet the employment/staffing levels are still high even if the parcel count has lowered.....and the Senior Managers are still taking home bonuses..........

Based on the posts there is a sense of entitlement. Minimum wage jobs are not supposed to be living wage jobs. Get an education, work hard, and you'll be in demand.

It is very easy to forge a state ID, Illegal's do it all of the time while stealing Identities so they can gain work in places that use an e-verify type system. Some states issue drivers license to people in the Country Illegally too.

Wrong your SSN was never meant to be used for identification, it just morphed into a "National" id. A piece of paper or number can be stolen or forged easily. What they are talking about is a Biometric Id that would be alot harder to forge or fake.

Volume is down 50% since 2002 and they think reducing the amount of employees only 24% is going to help. Maybe some business 101 classes would help the fools at the USPS. Let them go bankrupt then they won't be bound to ridiculous union pensions and retirement packages.
