The stock market has proven itself to be a scam.  I'm prepared to pull the existing portion of my 401k and invest in a gold IRA.  There seems to be nothing else that's reliable these days.  I'll continue to let my employer match my 6% 401k contribution at 50%, but the days of huge returns in stock are a thing of the pa...more
