Government officials thrive on stalemate; makes them more powerful doling out the goodies, while paying themselves first, of course.  After enriching their pensions, do they really care about America 25 years from now?

Would be a good "insider lawsuit scam".  If certain groups are willing to create actual car crashes for profit, this seems tame.    Anyway, what  is the actual damage;  A homophobe / racist employee shouldn't = "jackpot" for customer.

Typical government non-economic sense speak . Every tax collected and everything spent is an "investment" in something that we should "ALL be proud of". That's  bulls**t when most government workers are retiring on pensions more than 2x what the average US citizen makes working 40 hours a week.

The US government does have an obligation to assist US citizens in "harm"s way"; what they don't have is an obligation to provide free AAA auto type service to for-profit cruise lines.    There needs to be a contract in place before the cruise line enters or leaves US terriitorial waters.

Great for CVS; they'll wind up with a bunch of BMI qualified, non-smoking, cola drinking, pill popping, meth-head employees.  Can't wait for that kind of crazy customer service!

Probably sobering up somewhere getting our stories straight and be calling the police shortly to report the vehicle as stolen.

So the mother, probably on government disability is out on a busy street holding up a sign and offering cash for hiring her daughter who has been getting a government check to take care of her for the past 16 years.    I would want more info before contributing to the pity party.
