Higher taxes haven't hurt the rich at al...

I love this argument.  If everyone just worked harder, everyone could have great jobs or own their own businesses...except there aren't enough great jobs for everyone and there's only so much demand an economy can provide for businesses to succeed.  The reality is not everyone is afforded the same opportunities to succ...more

Don't mistake gaffes for stupidity.  I guarantee all of the people responding negatively on here would get straight up owned in a debate with Joe.  The general consensus was he soundly defeated Paul Ryan in the Vice-Presidential debate.  He won on the majority of the points but lost on demeanor.  He might be a little g...more

We do enforce the law on mass murderers.  Unfortunately for the victims, it doesn't do them any good after the fact.  Now, it's time for a preemptive strike.

'Queen of Versailles' CEO backs off elec...

The only reason the Bush rates still exist for top earners is because Boehner held out for the 1%.  Obama relented and allowed the rates to remain in place for all so the middle class wouldn't get hit during the great recession.  Don't expect that to happen this time around.  Romney and the Republican tax plan went bef...more

'Queen of Versailles' CEO backs off elec...

Genius, Obama wants to raise taxes on top earners, Romney did not.  Obama wanted to keep the Bush tax cuts for those under $250,000 and raise taxes on those above that.  Have you been paying attention?  Did you not read the news today where Obama said raising rates on top earners was a must?
