Obamas plan was to lower Social Security payroll tax and raise the cap but the republicians would have nothing to do with it, so the rate had to go back to 6.2% to preserve the fund. Stop the obstruction, vote for congressman that beleive in our government and are willing to make it work, rebuke the nay sayers.
