well since the dog got out of its yard and went over to bite her, yea the dog should die, and the owner should get fined, since its the owners fault for not teaching the dog right... im not one for trying to sue everything, but id sue the owner at least to cover the cost of the medical bills

To The_Man: The word is your, not you're which is short for your are. Also fighter's is wrong. That's possessive meaning something belongs to a fighter. It should be plural, fighters.
There are more attacks and bites by small dogs, but you don't hear about those.
If all dogs that bite humans should be destroyed, then all humans that kill people in any way should be destroyed.
I've heard that chicken should be washed with a little dish detergent soap to clean it thoroughly and help to get rid of any contamination. It wouldn't hurt. This is probably true of other meats also.
