It's not that there aren't any houses for sale: the problem is that the majority of sellers still think its 2006 in terms of pricing. Properties that are realistically priced in not terrible locations move quickly...
I could start with:
---franchises that DON'T accept the coupons that come in the mail
---the prices keep rising as the quality of the product decreases
---being charged extra for a packet of ketchup
---fries that are either dripping with grease, cold, or stale
---staff who don't speak English
...and move on to:...more
Its a prom dress: i.e. its only going to be worn once for a few hours. So only a fool wouldn't look for the least costly possibility. Silly question on my part (yes I'm a guy who thinks fashion is a load of b.s.) why aren't prom dresses rent-able like tux's?
The "beer insititute" might have been right that we drink less beer in the winter back when all beers were sold in six-pack cans, yellow in color, and tasted like piss. Me, I probably drink more beer in the winter since that's when dark ales (my beers of choice) are their best and most readily available.
