If you want to increase taxes (fairly) then go to the 'flat tax' and 'user tax' system only. Get rid of the deductions and the IRS ( or reduce it to a minimum anyway ) and everyone pays the same percent on their income and the same percent on their buying and acquisitions and sales.

I was in NY in 1961 for New Years Eve. I have seen no reason to return there since. It is dirty, streets have garbage, people are rude ( like they think New Yorkers are above the rest ).
The only thing that ever happened in NY that has bothered me was '911', and that was a national tragedy for all of us.
