The original ARTHUR was wonderful...fresh, funny, and well-acted. John Gielgud as "Hopson" was the epitome of a proper British butler with a killer sense of humor. An acting icon in the UK, yet largely unknown to US audiences, he won the Oscar that year, and deserved it.
