Take it back, with penalties and interest. If they can't pay, send a bill to their home country. If we owe that country money, then it erases the debt.

I remember when Myspace went this way.  The problem is change.  Both fell victim to changing what people like for what people don't like. One day, everyone loved MySpace, the next they changed X, Y and Z.  The next everyone liked Facebook.
