Is LASIK surgery worth it?

I had LASIK done in March of 2010. It was $4000.00 with a family and friends program I opted into at no extra charge. I think the Christmas lights are beautiful.  It's a Christmas tradition in my family to jump in the car when it gets dark on Christmas eve and drive around the city looking at the Christmas lights.  My kids love it.  And it gives us quality family time, in these busy times, something we could use more of.
