I'm not going to put off freedom for a time when I may not even still be alive, or healthy. Mini-retirements are the way to go - extended vacations as often as you can manage them. (I take mine once a year, unpaid. It maintains my sanity.) The rat race in America is truly ridiculous. Life doesn't start at retirement!
