Some destinations can't be driven to safely.  Our second home is in CR and somehow driving through Mexico and Nicaragua doesn't sound all that smart.

You know we fly a lot and i mean a lot.  I've been hit with airline fees that frankly stunned me but I paid them.   I didn't complain, I just shelled out, why?  Because they have the right to charge what they want.  When I book a trip I try to research all the fees that I can, I include those costs into my total trip.

Things actually get better in the second and third book.  The characters become more sympathetic and balanced.  Too bad you stopped at the first.
