Save and pay for it in cash and two things will happen; you'll naturally accumulate less and what you do accumulate will seem less burdensome more because it is paid for and you are not making payments.  You won't get caught in the madness if you save and pay in cash.  It'll all take care of itself.

In this particular case, someone needs to "realize" that his discharge papers were "incomplete" due to a "missed signature" and therefore he is still in the Navy.  Then, they can reassign him to duty somewhere to help him complete is requirements.  Over and done.   Do the right thing.

Unions strike again.  You would think they would learn.  All a union does is prevent talented people from being compensated for the value they have potential to offer and give lazy people a check they haven't earned.
