Economy under Clinton was propelled by technology. Does anyone remember the Y2K issue and nearly every organization investing tons of money in upgraded hardware and software?  Once the nation passed that year 2000 hurdle, tech spending stopped and the economy slipped into a recession.

I think there were times when the moderator was trying to "clarify" statements Obama made because the President really flubbed up some answers badly.  My kids thought it pretty bad that the moderator actuall provided some details on his accomplishments when Obama was stammering for an answer.
