This puppy was not meant to die.  Good things will come of his life and he will have fantastic new owners.  I hope they catch or find the people who left that poor pup in the car.

Pushing said cat off my lap when I need to get up always gets a dirty look.

Totally agree with all the comments posted here.  I am owned by 3 cats and 1 large loving dog.  They are all very happy to see me at the end of the day when I get home from work.  I normally end up with 3 cats and 1 dog in my bed at night before I go to sleep making me feel that I need an extra 2 hands to pet them all....more

Lovely dog, lovely story.  Yes - thank GOD for our wonderful canine companions who are with us all  through thick and thin.  They know how a person feels and will comfort that person the best way they can.  Golden Retreivers are fantastic dogs and can make anyone smile with their warm face and beautiful personality.
