I did not see any comments about watching to make sure your property is not stolen when contractors work on your house. Lots of contractors on this thread. I am in the industry and am positive that you have to watch them like a hawk. I have had some great subcontractors that took pride in their work and I have had those that didn't know what they were doing. I have had a $2000 violin and a miter saw stolen from me by workers.

I LOVE it. We're supposed to wait until 67 to retire, but if you get laid off at 50, try getting another job.
