I say, make 3 unrelated movies. The first one in the past, while Yoda was young. Then base something off The Force Unleashed, but not too much, and a third in the future with Cade Skywalker and Darth Krayt. All three movies can make room for cameo appearances, and leave room for future spinoffs.

They need to make a 3.5 movie. The stories of the Emperor's early years in power, the rise of the rebellion, Darth Vader hunting down the Jedi, and some Han and Chewy shennanigans.
