Disney, Darden and the rest just want to grind their workers for everything they can get out of them while corporate officers walk away with huge compensation and corporate profits. How dare their workers ask for basic health care or the ability to take time off when sick.
Ann Curry provided some degree of humanity to the Today show. When forced to interview people in crisis it was clear she was uncomfortable pushing for an emotional response for drama and ratings. She obviously had some respect for people. The Today show is now devoid of any humanity and is no longer relevant.
People are returning to locally owned establishments, leaving the highly processed, microwave thawed chains. I ate at a Red Lobster several months ago and it was awful.
The food in these essentially fast food resturants sucks. It is that simple no matter what they want to blame it on. Support local resturants and you might be surprused at what you find. Fewer microwaves and frozen food, more fresh local food not the highly processed garbage of olive garden and red lobster.
