What will it take to convince people like Ted Nugent that assault weapons are designed only to kill? I don't own any guns, but I'm not opposed to other people owning guns for self protection, hunting, or target shooting. I just don't think assault weapons are needed for any of these activities.
Unfortunately the Super Bowl isn't about football any more. The game is an afterthought. I don't care about the ads or the halftime show. I doubt that all the extra-curricular "entertainment" is doing anything for the game, but it's simply putting dollars in the pockets of those that are overpaid already.
The same BS is seen at the state level.
Our former governor Tim Pawlenty ostracized members of his own party for voting with the Democrats on a State bill. They voted with the interest of their constituents in mind and then got hung out to dry.
