Idiot thinks attaching himself to firewo...

Amazing how we assume that we're the best country on the planet. Yet less than 1/4 of the nation has an actual passport, let alone lived anywhere else. Not to mention, we ignore that 95% of people that do not live here, do not want any part of such idiocy, that we deem as freedom.

@ (mag knife) That is because we have taxes elsewhere. Only fanatic Republicans and teanutters actually think no taxes and no-gov is a good thing for a country. Not one other first world country shares this chain of thought. The other big difference is that we have consolidated to a state or even federal level. Bus...more

As some from a first world country where we have limited gov loan backers, I can without a doubt say it works. Not only are the house prices almost 3 to 4 times that of the median here and growing, we also have a substantially higher 'legitimate' home ownership. Legitimate as in the lenders are mandated by law to be ab...more

I did not realize that 1 + 1 does not equal 2 in non ivy schools. Higher education has become big business in America and it is now more about pumping out fee-paying customers, than delivering quality and knowledgeable students. With an ivy school, you are effectively purchasing a name and quite often at the tax payers...more
