I have never had a McDonald's employee be rude to me. Mainly because it is the last place on earth I would ever consider buying ANYTHING to eat. There is nothing that tastes good, nothing that resembles quality or value in short nothing that you would ever recommend to someone you hate.

Believe me when I say that it's not the tipping that is keeping people away from Darden restaurants. What keeps people away is the chain quality of the foods they are serving. Not surprising considering the best places are where no one wants to live and the worst places are where everyone wants to live. I could have guessed best and worst and would have been pretty close.
There seems to be a radical trend toward pre order and buffet style dining. Speaking from experience I'd say the buffet style is in the lead.
