I'm just sick and tired of chains. I'd rather go to small, local restaurants. And when traveling, I NEVER go to a chain restaurant, instead, opting for local dishes.

I grow both "regular" and paste tomatoes every year. I always grow an over abundance, as I freeze and/or can as well. I freeze/can whole (peeled) in small batches, so that I can take out  only what I need. This way, I can always make fresh sauce, paste, soup, or whatever I need, as needed.
