Felecia360 is right -- it sounds exactly like antabuse, and I know alcoholics who drank while they were taking antabuse because they loved the booze more than they feared the reaction. The vaccine might help, but any recovering alcoholic will tell you therapy and/or AA is needed to kick the habit.
