David Tomas, Mario Puzo signed a contract with Paramount and Copala studio's. So whatever the contract says, (That all party's agreed to) is what is legal.

scarlett31, it's not greedy. It's protection of Intellectual Rights which Paramount paid for and Mario Puzo sold off when he signed the contract.

Dr. Boogie, AMC doesn't edit films. Paramount or the Studio's edit diferent verions of films for brodast. The studios onnce again have controll of their works.
