I actually do believe a cat would do that. Every time I leave the house, my cat will sit on the driveway and wait for me to come home. When I left for college last year, my mom said she would spend days on end sitting on that driveway just waiting for me. And when I finally did come home, there she was!

My boyfriend's pit bull, D-Bo, does this ALL THE TIME. It's so goofy.

It's not that unusual, really. One of my cats LOVES water. He'll try to get in the bath with you. It's actually really annoying.
