It should be $22 an hour a study showed the $2.15 in the 70s converted for inflation. This would eliminate govt. subsides, wouldn't hurt companies their making record profits and people would buy more thus putting money back into the economy! It's catching up with inflation and what the true hourly rate should be. It shouldn't hurt employers all those making $7.25 and hour would simply go back and spend that money which would create a strong economy.
