I disagree with your elitist views on American coffee. Sure, there's plenty of swill on the market. But I've traveled the world over and have found that the U.S. has many fantastic coffee offerings as well. Kona coffee comes to mind for one - there are incredible coffee farms and plantations all across the Hawaiian...more
I usually buy fair trade, shade-grown organic coffee - no pesticides with your cup o' joe, they don't screw over the farmer, and they don't mow down rainforests to plant the coffee. Green Mountain offers that, but the Keurig coffee just doesn't do it for me...it pales in comparison to the rich taste of freshly brewed...more
Flying over the Grand Canyon, sailing the Andaman sea at sunset, flying in an ultralight over Waimea Canyon and the Na Pali Coast, ziplining the tree canopy in Monteverde Cloud Forest on a clear day, hot air ballooning over Middleburg, streaming clouds at 10,000 feet skydiving... Happy trails everybody.
If I needed all that crapola just to get through a day, frankly I wouldn't want to be around anymore. I just have no desire to go around killing desperate people reduced to savages, if indeed the world turned into an apocalyptic wasteland. There's a difference between "survival" and "living".
