You're first statement isn't exactly true IMO.  If aren't making shi7 for money and save most of it, you still won't really have shi7 in the end and will continue to struggle.  One man's 80% is another mans 13.

Where are all these 20 - 30 something managers I keep hearing about?  Not in manufacturing, I can tell ya that.  Typically 45 +, unless it's some cell / team leader position, but I'd hardly call that management.
