GM Stops Chevy Volt Production to Trim I...

Another answer to a question that nobody asked!  More "Green" (Read that ultra expensive) nonsense for a totally convoluted world of liberals and free thinkers.  Think the 15 Trillion national debt scheduled to go to 20 in a year or so, and they don't even blink their eyes.  And the music goes on and on and on........ ...more

As much as I am a GM supporter (even after the "bailout") I don't see Cadillac overtaking the sales numbers that exist at BMW.  The German car buyers are a specific mindset and it doesn't incoude American engineered and produced vehicles.  I don't think this situation of BMW superiority in sales numbers will change so ...more

It's the End of Saab as We Know It, and...

The last products of Saab were the (Almost) 50K Aero sedan (Chevy Malibu) and the erstwhile Cadillac Clone forf the SUV.  Most likely many mechanical parts are replaceable with GM parts.  A new car discounted 40/50 percent would most likely be a good buy if someone wants to own one of these now "collectibles".  This li...more

More Bad News for Fiat 500

What pure nonsense!  In something this small,  what would one expect from impact but obliteration.  If you want safety and security but a larger vehicle.  Why do you think people (especially women) feel so safe and dominant in suv's and larger crossover type vehicles-they are large and bulky and safe.  If you enjoy a t...more

5 ways to save on your cellphone bill

Had AT&T for years and giving them $65/75 month for 450min plan.  Paying for texting both in and out.  Dropped them for Net10 prepaid 750 minutes of any type of usage for just $25.00!  Saving over $500/year and still have great cell service from Net10, which is using AT&T and T-Mobile cell site service in my area.

Consumer Union and the other "experts" are so buried in their own perceptions for so many years now.  Look for the poorly rated cars, i.e. Taurus, Impala, most Chryslers and many other domestics for great buys, as one and two year old cars.  They are just as good as the highly rated models as many owners have proved ti...more

A Face-Lift for Old Buick

Been a Buick and Cadillac owner for most of my life.  I failed to see the major differences between our "best" and those who joined the party in the seventies and eighties.  When they built their plants here, with much government assistance and the absence of unions, the real problems began.  The playing field has not ...more

Has your car retained its value?

ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM:  After reading your analysis of what is "value" and the lack of factual information in peoples minds when they decide the "value" of their new car purchase, I find that the real value to be found is in the one to three year old "Domestic" models out there, that are selling for way below their orig...more

Domestic pickups still dominate the sale...

I'm of sufficient age to have been older than 16 in the so called "hay day" of the American Auto Industry.  Yes, the products were great, and we all relished in being and buying everything American!!!  So much has changed as I watched all our industries disappear with trade agreement after trade agreement.  Some how ou...more
