There were plenty of bad drivers before everyone had a GPS. Turning the wrong way onto a one way street? Seen it all the time. I don't think things have changed much.

In the last couple 2 young boys and an entire young family were killed by drunk drivers. We should not be helping them get away with it. We should be locking up repeat offenders for good.
Most of us work 80 hours a week? Where the hell are you working? And you can't just count the hours that kids go to school as the same number of hours teachers work. That is FAR from accurate.
There just is no substitute for a pickup truck if you need to do certain things. Though I do think that the people who only use them for commutes are kind of silly. But if they want to spend that much on gas, so be it.

The A/C can make a difference depending on what kind of vehicle you drive. If you are driving a full size SUV with a V8, you have a lot of extra power not being used, so the A/C will not make a difference. But if you drive a compact with a 2.0 4cyl, the A/C will use a noticeable percentage of the power.
