GM pulls 'chop suey' retro TV ad

I can see an advertiser pulling back if some of its consumers were to complain, but the commercial does not air in China, the vehicle is not sold in China, so what is the big deal?   WHO is complaining, and what company do they represent???   I would have more respect for American companies if when this picky crap ...more

@Doc365: You know, the conservatives has several valid arguments, but you never argue those.  Blaming President Obama for America's problems is wishful thinking.  You have no evidence to support your kooky claims. President Obama has NEVER taken away any of your rights.  On behalf of us independents, who actually...more

Weapons could not protect the native Americans from the immigrants with superior weapons. Guns are no longer relevant:  when the government comes for you, your arsenals will just be more evidence of your violent nature. Anyone who thinks that guns will save your civil rights has not read GW Bush's "Patriot Act".

The judicial system has been taken over by politicos and partisans.  What ever happened to the independent legal scholar who used to make up our judicial benches? Get the politics out of the legal system.  Decisions like this come from the golden rule mentality:  "He who has the gold makes the rules."

Meredith Vieira defends Matt Lauer

One plus vote for Jimmy the K.  Leno can barely deliver the stupid jokes his producers make him read.  And his "comedy" has turned so mean.  he goes for the easy laughs, like fat jokes, or piling on when politicans make a mistake.   America's best night show host?  Got to be Craig Fergerson after Letterman on CBS.   ...more

I like Lester too.  He was great in Chicago and he's aged well.  He speaks perfectly and is a real journalist, and theose are hard to find in the current world of "Personalities."   Real journalists deserve to be supported.  Unfortunately, networks use phony "panels" to measure audience appeal.  So now we have dumb n...more

Meredith Vieira defends Matt Lauer

NBC is the most obvious example of why big corporations make bad decisions.  When companies get too big, internal politics determines who gets promoted.  Thus, the best development talent always gets creamed by the individuals whose sole motivation is to get ahead by any means possible.   Executives who ignore ethics...more
