Anything other than drawing SS benefits when one is retired is the reason the system is under stress and it should only be paid out as a 'retirement income'. About half have incomes and investments totaling far more than $250K. Is it any wonder they've not supported a tax increase for those above that income? Good luck getting them to come together on a vote for a increase on themselves.
