Many women and teens would continue to drive until they just ran out of money. Then severe depression and then sit around with thumbs in their mouths. They kind of have it coming to 'em'.

There is definitely INFLATION for several months now. Gov economists try to downplay it, or even fabricate a lower number, but those of us who survive on fixed incomes see our budgets reduced because of it.  My only guess is because they HATE to give up COLA's because they affect the overall budget. If the old hang around at their jobs thru 65 it provides less opportunity for upward mobility for the younger workers. I think if they stay they should be made swap positions with someone below them and the pay swap also.
