Not sure who tried the melted crayon one... but mine came out fine. They didn't use a hot glue gone in the nicely done one, they blew hot air on it with a blow dryer. http://pinterest.com/pin/229402174740789269/ I also did this on a gesso'd pizza box. Another pinterest idea, which also worked.
