If Romney had won the election, the first thing out in the trash heap would have been Obamacare. You have nobody to thank but yourselves, you wise people who didn't vote for Romney. There is an old adage, be careful what you wish for because you might just get it! Only downside to that is that you took all of us who vo...more
I wanted to buy a tv and wrote a check and they refused it even though i had never bounced a check. they said I had no check writing history. so i used my debit card on another account. it was embarrasing and I did nothing wrong other than write a check of which they acknowledged there wasn't anything negative other th...more
best Morning Show they ever had......Harry Smith, Paula Zahn and Mark McEwen. They have tried to reinvent themselves hundreds of times since then and all have been abysmal failures. I switched over to the Today show at that time and still see no reason to change or even think about changing.

We can't name all of these people but at leas...more
beachcity101, you are 110% correct in your analogy. What a waste. He really thought he was invincible, even though everything he was doing to himself was dangerous and bad. And that is the History we are left with! What a sad ending to a great life that had so much potential if he had only stayed focused on the good and...more
Guess he is finally starting to burn all those sick days he has accrued over the last 17 years since his job is ending next month!!!! Glad to hear you are on the mend, Jay. See you on Monday night!

Everyday Cooking and Baking TipsBOARD POST
The Basic Wine Information
I would stay away from the "cooking" wines found near the vinegar section. They are way too expensive. Buy the regular drinking wine equivalents. The rule of thumb (more or less) is that white wines go with lighter foods such as poultry and fish and reds with beef, pork, etc. Follow the recipe the first time, then try ...
