John Perley Huffman from Car and Driver wrote this. This is yet another article that is a waste of computer time. Msn has gone down hill faster than the cars in this article.
Do the reporters or publishers read these comments? Austin Martin Rapide? Long awaited? I'm not interested in these cars. They should put these cars in an "Exotic Cars" category so that only the interested will view them. Don't lump them with Dodge and Ford.
I think the Leaf is a great second car, a grocery getter, a drive to work car if you live in or near the city. It won't have any emissions during traffic jams. It's small. In a major city where there are lots of traffic violators that drive SUVs and big pick ups, it would be dangerous.

One thing not mentioned. Fuel is about 3 lbs per gallon.. if your a local driver and combing trips with close access to your gas staion, try filling up to 1/2 or 3/4's of a tank to reduce weight.

This article is wordy, no time to read it. Make a list of the models and one sentence why they cost more. If you buy a new car you'll notice the collision and comprehensive coverage premium never drops. But the value of the car does when you total it in an accident years later.
