Think about it. How many 5 year olds would do this? Most kids his age have hand held games or DVD players in the cars. They have no knowledge of what the parents are doing in the front seat. So yes I feel he is a hero. He saved his mom.....

Learn how to load the damn gun.  ****.! Even my kids were taught how to do that. There is a class given yearly that teaches gun safety. You need to attend one really fast. Next time you may not be this lucky.

My cousin was involved in this. Sent pictures of the storm. Lost her electricity for awhile. Her home was safe but this is all she needed. She lost her husband 3 weeks ago.
