I agree with most, exept I've bought expensive male shoes used at great prices with no problems. obviously try walking in the darn things before you purchase. Ah Buckeye, that's a combination of genetics and luck. But if most people followed the diet of your relatives it would shorten their lives. I also think modern food has too many chemicals, even the so-called "health" foods. Just be glad you come from a hearty family line, but don't try to translate it to the rest of us...more
I also bank with a small bank and have no problems. I also know every teller and policeman in the bank. Can't say that was the same when I banked with BOA. Sure this is a small step. BUT small steps add up. As my old ex-hippie friends would say, "Stick it to DA man"
Yes people are acting more sensible - for now. But when the next boom (or bubble) comes in and they have a lot of excess funds, they will be back to the same old nonsense. It would be nice if people changed, most don't. Some, however, do learn their lessons and my hat is off to them.
I was forced to deal with it my own way. With all credit cards maxed out, no job, I dealt strictly in cash - that was my way out. Cash only and a debit card for major purchases.
Credit cards? Gone and never again. Never. MSN liberal? Hardly. Take your Paranoia elsewhere. Cheers
