My daughters w2 had 9500 ins on a w2 with 30k, who could afford to pay that on their own? Thats on top of her part, deductibles and copays. It doesn't sound like anyone in the US can afford health insurance. I think they took the wrong approach to fix the problem.
What is another year of inept education in the US school system going to achieve? If we can't provide basic education in 13 years, this country is doomed. I don't want to pay for daycare for everyone.

The best way to pay for govt subsidized daycare? Quit screwing around. Its the idea of taxing someone to pay for something they have absolutely no vested interest in that is really upsetting.
