911 isn't the only reason to keep a landline. During an emergency you may not have power....how exactly are you going to charge your cell? Only so many people can call at one time before calls are dropped or just don't go through.
It's cheap to have a landline for emergencies only. And it makes a lot of sense.
Eh - well if she's doing laundry twice a week, she probably has 3/4 pairs of underwear. In fairness to the author, he did have the unlimited text plan it was an error on T-Mobiles part. I was unaware there were so many who have attained perfect parenting status. The kid isn't on the corner dealing drugs, he's texting. Get a grip.
Yes, he withdrew after massive public outcry. He had been planning to stay in it. He may be sorry and may be trying to change but he sure isn't acting like it.
