Someone, you are misguided.  I live in Vermont.  Childcare Subsidies are given to people working, attending school or if it is deemed "in the best interest of the child" BS. Also, they do assist with purchasing a car.

When you mentioned low birth rates I almost choked.  While it is true responsible adults are having less children, the poor living off the government are popping them out at record speed and they all have different daddies that are magically "no longer in the picture"
