It's a Central Bank without validity. They can print ad nauseum but Japan doesn't have any way of backing what it's printing. I'm not going to pay anything for something that doesn't have value.

If the QE went to Main Street instead of Wall Street as it should have from Day One, our best would have enterprises with legs and capable of supporting people back into the mainstream, no matter how lost they got. All we got is rot now.

"VL:  I figured your question out months ago."   If you did, your counter-cyclical enterprise should be making you smile right now. As we pump more fiat into the markets and dilute our currency, it sends more consumers out of the mainstream economy to find what they need for less. Quality is the pacesetter now.

"... wouldn't real estate make more sense?"   No. The current mortgage rates are too low to service. In a very few years from now all RE will be toxic to the recovery. It's a bubble guaranteed to repeat.
