Oddly enough.. the "new math" described there is completely different than the "new math" of the 80s and 90s.  "Mental Math" that took 86+13 and made it 90+-4+10+3 to be rearranged as 90+10+-4+3 because addition is still commutative.

Make sure you watch "Robot" with Tom Baker (by the way there was a sizable edit above)  That's the first one with Tom Baker, and him and Brigadier good together.

I love that the Daleks were so terrifying when they couldn't leave a metal surface until The Dalek Invasion of Earth, and would be felled by the dreaded stair until the 7th doctor.

I do have to ask.. who's your favorite doctor?  Clearly I'm assuming it's Tennant, but what about the classic?
