Well with no wage growth for the last 30 years even the smallest inflation is magnified. Prices can stay the same or slowly rise but with no wage growth it has the same affect as inflation. You and I are in agreement about hiding inflation. Hell with the negative wages we have it's sort of a reverse inflation where prices might stay the same but wages fall.
