The price given for yeast would get you about a pound weight of same.  How big a loaf was she baking?.  For most recipes a teaspoon, i.e. a fraction of a pound, is all thats required.  Subtract incorrect cost for yeast from cost of homemade loaf and its on a par with m****duced product.
